How Walkable are Triangle Area Neighborhoods?
July 31st, 2007 10:50 AM

This post from BloodhoundBlog made me wonder: How walkable is the average Triangle area neighborhood?

With the exception of certain areas in downtown Raleigh or some newer developments like Amberly, I'd expect most neighborhoods developed in the Triangle in the recent past are completely un-walkable. With our area growing sideways in typical urban sprawl fashion, are we cementing our future as an area of long mileage commutes and bedroom communities?
